The stage and the sets, the jungle floor, so to speak - where all the action happens....

Basic floor plan of the terrace |
[This page is still a work in progress; there does not appear to be a quick and easy way to render a garden plan. So, producing one may be a slow and tedious process of drawing in to scale the planters and furniture on a screenshot of the terrace floorplan using drawing tools. Perhaps there is an easier way - converting that screenshot to a pdf? Unclear - learning as I go... you'll know when this is updated to something more than the bare bones diagram above.
Ideally, the diagram would be interactive - enlarging specific areas as a reader touches or hovers to show the details of the diagram. Then, further clicking on the schematic showing a planter could pull up a link with photo of the planter and a cross reference to the plants that live there from the
Flora page. Exploring how to do that (have just discovered how to link
specific photos, months upon months after first posting the first rough version of this page) ... blog site goals, for a future time with abundant hours, and more abundant resources (suspecting this may require a separate site build out, as each of these "pages" - other than the Home page containing the blog - seems remarkably static, with no more capability for dimension than a single blog post, so I will have to make do by posting separate links to photos and videos, I think)....]
Rough dimensions of the Main Terrace: 9 feet x 38 feet.

Main Terrace, looking west toward fence - a rare moment clear of plants and furnishings. |
Wowsers - that floor plan above is actually to scale! Each square is a square foot. Well, that's useful and handy!

And now, the Main Terrace with plants, and glimpses of furniture, looking westward - the October 2021 version. |

And if one were to turn 180 degrees on the Main Terrace, looking eastward in October 2021. |

"Wraparound North" part of the terrace, looking south to a blank slate. |

Adding back the shed and, temporarily, the mandevillas on the pavers against the wall of the Wraparound South. |
